Special thanks go to the following people who have helped to make Viktoria's Pantry possible:
- David Groat and Morris Battle run the Rusty Buffalo, which is the first shop you come to after crossing the wooden one-lane bridge over Bath Creek. We cannot say enough to express our appreciation for them. David built all of our store aisles, hutches, shelves and counters for Viktoria's Pantry (yes, we're next door to their store), as well as the armoire, various tables and mirror for the Cobblestone Cottage, all from rustic barn wood. They are beautiful pieces of work, and they perfectly fit the spirit and quaint approach of our store and cottage. These guys RULE (hi-five).

- Robert and Debbie Moore manage the Gene Vance Cottages, some of the original historical cobblestone structures in Medicine Park. After taking over the Cobblestone Cottage at Medicine Park, we got to know these good people. Not only have they have given us sound advice, they made it possible for us to take on the lease for what has become Viktoria's Pantry. Robert has also installed new sinks for us, hauled supplies back from Sutherlands in Lawton, has gravelled our drive in front of the Cobblestone Cottage, and has been a friend in need.
- Robert Moore III (young Robert), who hired on to work with us each weekend, helped lay and trim new floor covering, lay and trim carpet, helped paint EVERYTHING (inside and out), haul supplies, haul trash, clean and reset decking, and performed innumerable nickel-and-dime tasks. He also installed the
fan
in our store. His help is appreciated very much ... you go,
Robert!
- Ellen and Dewain Huffmaster, their kids Jennifer, Christopher and Allie, and Ellen's mom, Joyce Bean - all deserve an overwhelming THANK YOU. Ellen, a close friend of Viktoria's, lives in Enid, and has taken care of our two adorable dogs (we prefer to call them our "boys"),
Sundance and
Valentino,
while we have been in the thick of getting the store ready for opening. Ellen is the type of person who will go out of her way to help anyone without even considering it an effort, and she truly is a blessing to us. We love you guys.
- David Early, next door neighbor to the Cobblestone Cottage, has graciously allowed us to keep
Sundance and
Valentino,
, our two "boys", in their fenced yard, whenever we are working on our cottages. His daughter and her friends have been their playmates while there, keeping them entertained (and vice-versa *lol*). Thanks so much to the Early family.
- Joy Willingham, who runs the Purple Parrot, is the first person we met in the business community. She took us in with open arms, had that "feeling" that we'd be getting more involved in Medicine Park, and has been an encouragment and friend to both of us. Visit her shop, the Purple Parrot, which is three stores down from ours, just before you get to City Hall.
Thank all of you for your professionalism, kindness and consideration freely extended to us. If we have failed to mention anyone, please accept our apologies.
